Trip made by Brother Don and Sister Ann to Licab & Barangay Aquino in Philippines to
visit the 2 churches, New Life in Christ, under the Pastorship of Brother June Teodora
and Brother Ed.
July 1st – July 5th 2005

July 1st, 2005 – Friday
Arrived Manila and spent a night at the hotel awaiting the next day’s journey to Licab. We went downstairs to the restaurant to have an early dinner and while sitting down, a waitress came up to us and we start witnessing to her. She asked if we were Christians and we said yes and then she told us she was a Catholic. We told her it is very important for us to have a personal relationship with the Lord and through the church. Our walk with the Lord should be personal. And she agreed. Then Bro. Don told her that she should have a personal time with the Lord each day.

Have that time in her bedroom or even in the bathroom if she needed privacy. She agreed and then told us about her praying in the bathroom at home. He then told her how important it was for us to have that relationship with the Lord as only He knows what is best for us. Then he proceeded to ask her if she was married and she said no but she was engaged. Then he told her that only the Lord knew which husband would be the best for her.

The Spirit of the Lord touched her heart as she began weeping and she kept nodding her head and told us that was so true and that was what she had been praying for. She then excused herself and went to freshen up. We did not see again. But it was amazing that the Lord would use us right there at the hotel to be His witness of His Love. We were humbled and grateful for that.
July 2nd, 2005 – Saturday
Around 9.30am, Bro. Jojo, Bro. Ed and Sister Nelly came to welcome us and pick us up to leave for Licab. We were so happy to see each other. It has been a long time since we last saw each other. We had fellowship in the hotel room itself. We shared about what took place last night in the restaurant. Then we left for our drive to Licab which will take us around 3 and half hours. Praise the Lord, there was a new highway and that itself cut our journey that before it would have taken us almost 6 hours to reach our destination.

We arrived at the New Life in Christ Worship Center and saw the banner welcoming us. We met so many whom we have not seen in a long time. We saw Sis. Dolores, Sis. Joceey, Sis. Connie and many more. Oh…What joy was that reunion!
Br. Jojo and Sis. Nelly gave us their bedroom to spend the next few days in. We had then asked that
we stay at the resort which was nearby. They told Bro. Don that they wanted his anointing to fill the place up and that they did not want us to stay somewhere else. They wanted the blessings of the Lord poured out on them as they were serving the Servant of the Lord.

The next few hours, we had fellowship with some of the brethren and we shared our testimonies of leading
worship to the worship ministry team that was led by Bro. Alvin and the youth of the church. Today was their
practice for tomorrow’s service.
