Trip made by Brother Don and Sister Ann to Licab & Barangay Aquino in Philippines to
visit the 2 churches, New Life in Christ, under the Pastorship of Brother June Teodora
and Brother Ed.
July 1st – July 5th 2005

July 3rd, 2005 – Sunday
The 2 churches had combined and were meeting for service today at the main church and the church was
prepared for service. We greeted many at the entrance with Bro. Jojo as he inspected his flock. Then service started and we have praise and worship and then Bro. Don taught about the New Creation and the Born Again person and the death of Self. Bro. Jojo interpreted the message to the people.

Before the end of service, Bro. Don invited those that would come later for Bible study after lunch and also that he was going to anoint and ordain Bro. Jojo Teodoro and Bro. Ed Tmalete for the ministry of pastoral ship. And then the service ended for lunch.
We returned back for the bible study and prayer for the 2 pastors. Brother Don prayed for both Pastors (2 Timothy 4:1- 5) and had ordained them to be the Pastors of the Church New Life in Christ Church under Skywatch Ministries.
Then Brother Don started his teaching for bible study. The Spirit of God came and the people heard the word of God preached and they received it wholeheartedly. After the Bible study, Bro. Don called for a meeting with the church workers. He talked to each group; Music ministry, church dministration, prayer warriors. Each group was shown how important their roles were when ministering to the people of God and unto the Lord. After that, he asked that all start worshiping the Lord in the spirit and to gently pray in tongues. The Spirit of God moved in that place while we were worshipping Him.

The Lord manifested His love in that place. Sis. Dolores started to intercede for someone and she began crying out to the Lord. Then later Sis. Ann gave a prophecy about the church workers and how the Lord was still working in them just as the church building was incomplete yet so was His work in them. Then later Sis. Connie spoke up and told everyone that she had been asking the Lord to open her mouth so that she may speak in tongues and she did..right there while we were worshipping the Lord. She was so happy that the Lord listened to her prayer and blessed her with speaking in tongues.
Then Bro. Ed gave her prophecy and Sis. Ann confirmed it. Bro. Alvin then spoke in tears how he was waiting on the Lord for strength and joy and that he received it just then. So many was touched by God at that time. It was amazing to see the Lord move in the midst of us.

Later, we met with Bro. Alvin who is also the architect that designed the church building and we spoke about the finances and the cost it would take to complete the 2nd floor and finish up the rest that needed to be done. He showed us the blueprints and the picture on the right shows how the church would look like. Later that night, we had fellowship with Bro. Jojo and his wife, Sis. Nelly.
We exchange testimonies of what the Lord had done in our lives. One of them was from Sis. Nelly and her gift of faith. When the church was recently built, there was a typhoon (hurricane) that hit the Luzon island, North Philippines. And that brought torrential rain and floods started to take place in Licab. Bro. Jojo had fallen sick and had a high fever. Sis. Nelly was worried that the instruments and the other things in the church would get wet and be destroyed when the floods rises.

By the way, the church building is surrounded with rice fields. And since her husband was not well to move the things to higher ground, she started to pray. She asked the Lord to have mercy on them. Then she went and took some rocks and placed them at the doorstep. She then commanded the waters that was rising, “Waters, you are to come no further than these rocks here.” Immediately, the rain stopped and of course the waters did not rise any more. Glory be to God!
