Skywatch Ministries Inc – Ministry Report of Nepal 2005
Trip made by Brother Don and Sister Ann to Kathmandu, Nepal to visit the church, His Sanctuary, under the Pastorship of Brother Kishor and his wife, Sister Rekha.
June 10th – June 20th 2005
Report prepared by Sister Ann

Saturday
We had church service. About 300 hundred attended. We were introduced to the members of the Church. We saw many that we recognized but there were a lot more new faces. They were all happy to see us there as we were grateful to be there as well. We thanked the Lord for that blessing and we sent everyone’s love from Malaysia and USA.

Sunday
5 persons were Water baptized. They were prayed for by Brother Kishor. As you can see in the pictures below, the water is not very clean but yet the members are baptized regardless whether it is cold, the water not very sanitarily clean. But they remain committed.

After that, we started to praise the Lord in tongues (singing in the Spirit) Bro. Kishor (the pastor) saw a lion with wings – interpretation – lion represents royalty and wings like the eagle is represents priesthood…hence royal priesthood. A sister saw a person dress in white walk in the midst of us. Brother Don started his teaching about living as the Light in the midst of darkness. About 30 people attended. After preaching 2 persons were prayed for receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit by Sister Ann.

One sister immediately received it and spoke quiet easily and flowed in tongues. And later she felt hot all over. Another Sister was also prayed for but first she talked about her husband not being a believer and how scared she was. He was a Hindu. Sister Ann shared about praying over herself and receiving courage and then praying against the Hindu altar of her parents. She then was prayed for and she was slain in the Spirit. She woke up and said that today was her daughter’s birthday and her husband had asked her to prepare the Hindu tikka (red powder) for her the ceremony and she was afraid. But we told her she had to stand for the Lord.

That night at the hotel, there were 2 maids from housekeeping who came to our room to turn the beds down for the night. We asked if they were Christian's and one of them said she was and her name was Nanu Gurung. She was 27 years old, married with 2 kids and she was happy she had met Christians. But the other girl was not a Christian. So we three witness to her about Jesus Christ.
