| TO DIE IS GAIN
To live is to lose one's eternal life with God. To die is to gain life everlasting with God.
These words have passed through time and remain incorruptible. They are burned into an eternal cross that stands before each believer each day of their life.
Each moment in many cases, each believer has to make the final choice again and again, each time being reminded the cross is the only way, the only door into the kingdom of heaven. To die is the only gain, the only gate that brings everlasting Joy into existence in one's life on earth.
As one believer declared, on his way to his physical death for the Glory of God, "Oh Cross, how I longed to embrace you, for I have been your lover these years."
Now today, in the modern times of the planet earth, to die on the cross, physically speaking, is rare but does still happen. It is a greater problem to lose one's life in the day to day decision processes. Believers simply do not embrace the cross and its sufferings, nor do they become its' lovers. In the daily affairs of their hearts, they continue putting off the decisions of the death and burial of self, while they compromise their faith in dealing with friends, family, relationships, professions, societies, culturals and traditions of men and demons.
Today, the cross is an abstract idea that is tucked away as something no longer important. Today, its meaning is little in the hearts of the believers. They fail to realise the meaning of the death, burial and resurrection process. They fail to understand to fellowship with Christ's glory one just must equally so, fellowship with His sufferings.
Today, more than any other time frame since our lord's ascension, the believer is faced with deceit and deception from humanism and the self motivated societies in which they live. The idea of separation from the viewpoint of the vast majority of humanity does not seem something to embrace. In today's viewpoint, the believer is taught that today's societies are okay and moderate and one can belong to Christianity and the world without any compromises. A vast majority of Christianity and church declares peace and safety and all is well, to their judgement.
In the intellectual world of today, all is well and man marches onward to discover this and that science, while bringing the various nations together to build a world society. Somewhere in the believers’ minds, they refuse to look at "Babel" and more importantly, exactly what the Lord stated about the people of Babel.
It seems ill advised to give believers the simple statement that Jesus died so that the believer would be reconciled unto God Most High...and stop eating of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, but return one's walk in the spirit.
The idea that the Scriptures declares that the Lord would place His Spirit in man and through that Spirit, he would obey the commands and decrees of the Most High God (which returns man to the state of righteousness).
The statement that is found in Joshua that the Commander of the Army of the Lord has come into the believer's life to do the will of Him who sent him just does not seem to be real or acceptable. There seems to be difficulty in accepting the words of life that declares the Lord will place His Spirit in man and through His Spirit man will obey His commands and decrees. The idea of “not by might nor by ability but by My Spirit” seems distant words of another time and meaning than fit into today’s Christianity.
It is further noted that when the Lord appears for His Bride and shouts, "come up here", many will say it thundered, others will say it was a sonic boom from a jet and note with wonder why a few people disappeared.
TO DIE IS GAIN.
"What did you say the meaning of this was?" Those left behind asked as they looked around, hearing the coming terrible sounds.
